In 2010 ACA planned and executed a delivery program to accommodate the release schedule of cargo spread over 4 months. 6 full Boeing 747F charters and 2 smaller scheduled shipments were arranged, all operating from New York JFK airport to Kandahar Airbase. ACA arranged the collection of cargo from the Prime Contractor’s designated warehouses in the USA and transfer to KJFK airport. Cargo was prepared for transport and loaded on its respective Charter and Scheduled Flights. ACA coordinated with carriers to obtain the MRF ISAF Callsigns & PPR Ground Services approvals at OAKN for all charter flights. Upon arrival ACA’s agents collected all freight and transferred it to flatbeds. Trucks were staged into armed convoys to transit from Kandahar out to Camp Dwyer moving off base under Memorandum of Understanding. All convoys arrived without incident and cargo was delivered in good condition.
