After several years of chartering Douglas DC-8 aircraft to move $1 billion of jewelry per flight to the Las Vegas Jewelry show for a client, ACA was engaged to provide trucking solutions for the client’s lower value shipments. Beginning as a small operation the business has grown to hundreds of truck loads transported across the United States. ACA developed, in tandem with the client, specific security and tracking protocols including coordinating with armed security personnel for loading and unloading, third party sealing of the trucks, and up to date tracking of the loads. Combined with special insurance arrangements, ACA has been able to meet the client’s needs and help them grow their business with this previously nonexistent service.
