Project ScopeIn the wake of economic shutdowns due to Covid-19, thousands of cruise ship workers were left stranded on their ships long after passengers were evacuated and international borders were closed.
ACA was tasked with repatriating 3500 of these workers operating through a fluid situation that included constantly changing passenger routings, airline fleet and crewing capabilities, border closures, facilitating diplomatic permits, and Covid-19 protocols for passengers. With 24-7 support, we provided short and long-haul flights utilizing aircrafts ranging from a small four passenger jet to Boeing 787s transporting passengers to a number of countries across six continents.
Our experience with short timelines and emergency situations has made it possible to successfully operate under such conditions as they arise. Our executives worked around the clock to ensure successful missions.
